Beloit, KS –Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) has been named one of America’s Best-In-State Hospitals for 2026 by Newsweek, earning national recognition for its performance and commitment to high-quality healthcare.

This prestigious designation places MCHHS among an elite group of hospitals across the United States recognized for excellence in patient care and organizational performance. The rankings were developed by Newsweek in collaboration with Statista, evaluating hospitals based quality metrics, hospital reputation, patient experience, and patient-reported outcomes.

Over 6,000 hospitals in all 50 states were considered, with only the 800 highest-scoring hospitals earning a spot on the 2026 list.
