Laboratory Services

The Laboratory Department at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems provides a wide range of diagnostic testing performed by experienced professionals, including board-certified technologists, a technician, and skilled phlebotomists.

Hours & Check-In

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Weekends & Holidays: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• After Hours: On-call services available
• Outpatients: Please check in at Patient Registration in the front lobby.

• Blood Bank (in partnership with American Red Cross)
• Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology
• Urinalysis and Pathology (in partnership with WPM Laboratories, Salina)
• Cardiology Stress Testing and EKGs
• Workplace Drug Screen Collections
• DOT Breath Alcohol Testing
• Limited Veterinary Testing

Quality and Oversight

• Directed by a board-certified pathologist
• Participates in national proficiency testing for accreditation
