Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is home to a Certified Level IV Trauma Center, staffed 24/7 by experienced emergency nurses with advanced training in trauma, burns, and rural emergency care.

Our Emergency Department

• 24/7 emergency care by trained Registered Nurses
• Certified Level IV Trauma Center since 2012
• 2 fully equipped trauma and cardiac rooms
• Serving approximately 3,000 emergency patients annually

Outpatient Services

Our Emergency Department also provides outpatient care, including:

• Infusion therapy
• Specialized procedures
• 3 outpatient bays
• Serving around 3,000 outpatient visits per year

Trauma Network Participation

• Part of the Kansas Trauma Region
• Compliant with Kansas Trauma Center Level designation
