Pelvic Floor Therapy Provided at MCHHS

Beloit, KS — Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) offers pelvic floor therapy as part of its comprehensive rehabilitation services, providing specialized care to help patients improve strength, comfort, and daily function.

Pelvic floor therapy is a form of therapeutic treatment focused on the muscles that support the bladder, bowels, and reproductive organs. When these muscles are weakened, tight, or not working properly, individuals may experience issues such as bladder or bowel leakage, pelvic pain, postpartum concerns, or recovery challenges following surgery.

“This therapy can make a life-changing difference for people who may have been struggling quietly for years,” said Hanna Pearson, MCHHS Occupational Therapist. “Our goal is to help patients regain confidence, reduce discomfort, and get back to enjoying everyday activities without fear or embarrassment.”

Pelvic floor therapy helps women manage common issues like bladder control, recovery after childbirth, pelvic discomfort, and core weakness – at any stage of life.
