Employment Requirements
Upon receiving a job offer, candidates must complete the following prior to employment start date:
- Pass a drug screening, criminal background check, employment physical, and tuberculosis (TB) test
- Provide valid employment eligibility documentation (e.g., passport or driver’s license with Social Security card or birth certificate)
- Submit immunization records, including MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B
- Provide COVID-19 vaccination documentation or exemption
- Supply bank account details for payroll direct deposit
- Present current professional licensure, if applicable
- Provide CPR certification, if required

About Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems
Located in North Central Kansas, MCHHS is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Our services include:
- Level IV Trauma Center Emergency Room
- Surgical Suite and Operating Rooms
- Intensive Care Unit
- Obstetrics and Nursery
- Medical/Surgical Acute Care
- Swing Bed Program
- 36-Bed Long-Term Resident Care Center
- Hospice Care
- Outpatient Services including Physical and Occupational Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Radiology, Laboratory, Pain Clinic, Senior Life Enrichment, and Specialty Clinics
